The Chesterfield County NAACP Branch celebrated the 100th anniversary of the NAACP on the 5th of September. This event was well attended by many distinguised  persons including the Democratic National Committee Chairman (Governor Kaine) , Republican National Chairman (Michael Steele), and Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell.
