
The Chesterfield County NAACP Branch celebrated the 100th anniversary of the NAACP on the 5th of September. This event was well attended by many distinguised persons including the Democratic National Committee Chairman (Governor Kaine) , Republican National Chairman (Michael Steele), and Republican gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell. Annual Freedom Fund Banquet
Dear Friends:
It is our pleasure to bring you greetings from the Chesterfield County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). As we embark on another eventful season, we would like to invite you to our Annual Freedom Fund Banquet. This year’s event will be on Friday, September 10, 2010, 6:30PM at the Children’s Home of the Virginia Baptist in Ettrick, Virginia. This year’s speaker will be Mr. Milliard D. “Pete” Stith, Retired Chesterfield County Deputy Administration for Community Development. This year’s theme is: NAACP: One Nation, One Dream”.
Tickets for the banquet are now available for $50 each. They may be purchased from any branch member or by contacting Karen Gee at (804) 639-5264. Be sure to get them soon, as seating is limited.
Remember, the Freedom Fund Banquet is your major opportunity to support the NAACP financially.
